Jackson, MI photographer – Parma Mill – Family session – First birthday – Cake smash

Anthony is my cousins youngest child of 4. I  did his newborn photos and I just cannot believe how fast he has grown! Our home town of Parma made for a perfect backdrop. Alex wanted to get some of the family photos in and then finish with Anthony’s batman cake smash. Tons of fun and cuteness all rolled into one!

Downtown Parma is one of my favorite locations, especially behind the Mill. I not only love the fact that I can literally walk there from home but it also has some gorgeous backdrops! Im always finding a new way to use angles down there.

Once we wrapped up a small family photo session we started with a few focusing just on Anthony, then it was on to the cake. The alleyway across from the bank made for a perfect scene. After he got messy with his cake we set up a small warm bubble bath for him to rinse off! I love these themed cake smashes!
